The world we live in today is fast changing and the training you need to survive and thrive in a crisis is critical.

The foundation of our philosophy is in our motto that comes from the founding fathers of the United States - "Semper Vigilans Fortis Paratus et Fidelis" which means "Always Vigilant, Strong, Prepared and Faithful".

Consider that the most common firearms training is looking at a stationary target and learning to hit that stationary target. In real life, your attacker will not be stationary waiting for you to take careful aim. 

Classrooms across the country teach what is called a "one size fits most" approach instead of focusing on you and your specific needs in training. 

DFT Academy's trainers have not only been directly involved in a wide variety of Real-Life Real-World situations but they bring those skills that allowed them to adapt and overcome extreme stress to you the student in a calm one-on-one fashion.

We treat every one of our students like our own family and teach you how to know your environment at all times, and how to respond to the threat, by always being prepared. 

DFT Academy enables women to possess the skillsets upon completion of training to achieve self reliance and self protection.
