Description:
This course consists of instruction in the following areas: firearms safety and handling, sportsmanship
and ethics, wildlife management and conservation, wildlife identification, game
care. After a student successfully completes the course and passes the final
examination, they are awarded a Certificate of Completion. The Traditional Course allows for individual interaction with the instructor. The Traditional Course is most often preferred by first-time hunters.
If you were born on or after January 1, 1975, you must complete a hunter education course to purchase a hunting license OR show proof of a previously held license in Idaho or another state.
All registrants for this event must be 9 years of age

Summary:
Students discuss the predator’s mindset and the importance of mental and physical preparedness inside
and outside the home. Students are taught strategies that can be integrated into their everyday lives to avoid falling victim to a crime.

This is not a firearms instruction course and does not include instruction in physical combat self-

For our students who want to improve their ability to draw firearms in various settings and applications. This is conducted the classroom only.

For our students who want to help make the range safer for the groups they interact with or are thinking of one day becoming an instructor this is a great foundation.
Each RSO candidate will learn:
• roles and responsibilities of a Range Safety Officer.
